Estimating Project Coordinator

We are currently look for a Estimating Project Coordinator to join our team in Camas, WA. This role is Hybrid. The pay range is $67,000 - $84,000 annual salary.
Primary Function:
The Estimating Project Coordinator is responsible for managing customer relationships and “build to print” orders that require technical support but do not require direct engineering resources. This role is customer facing at times and involves interaction with engineering, accounting, sales and the shop during the production life cycle. Depending on the customer request, the Estimating Project Coordinator will generate quotes, manage incoming orders, produce first article documentation, process RMAs, as well as the general tasks related to project tracking and management.
Essential Job Functions - Responsibilities:
- Interface with clients to understand their requirements in order to deliver a quote that provides accurate scope to their project.
- Define project requirements, deliverables, acceptance criteria, and the desired end result.
- Collaborate with the estimating team to create and deliver quotes for new work.
- Identify project risks and develop methods to mitigate any foreseeable risks.
- Generate First Article Inspection Reports and Certificates of Conformity.
- Ability to read and understand fabrication and assembly drawings.
- Ensure that all shop & assembly documentation, and client documentation deliverables are complete and accurate.
- Oversee the data release to the shop and lab to ensure a smooth flow of information in a timely manner.
- Interface with supply chain and manufacturing staff on material status and production planning issues.
- Have the ability to manage multiple smaller projects at once, moving/tracking them through their complete lifecycle.
- Provide continual improvement recommendations to estimating procedures, processes and quality assurance to ensure we are always exceeding expectations.
- Follow Business Technology policies to protect sensitive data and reduce information security occurrences.
Education and Experience: (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities)
- High School Diploma or equivalent required, Associates degree in a STEM field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years relevant work experience preferred.
- Experience with project planning, documentation control and change management on projects.
- Experience working with multiple engineering disciplines such as, Mechanical and Electrical Engineers, as well as Supply Chain, Fabricators and Assembly Technicians.
- Ability to perform day-to-day project coordination duties, issue tracking, and report generation required.
- Ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks and complete them under time constraints; strong organizational skills.
- Familiarity with fabricated parts processes and procurement.
- Proficiency with NetSuite ERP system is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal English language communication skills.
- Excellent teamwork/interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively, both within and outside one's own work group.

Work Environment
Office: Standard office environment with normal office-related conditions. Occasionally may be required to travel as required to other facilities, clients, or suppliers.
