Pay range: $93,000-124,000

Primary Function:
The Process Engineer II independently owns a manufacturing subsystem or process, scaling processes for prototype and low-volume builds, and developing best practices to improve quality and efficiency.
Essential Job Functions – Responsibilities:
Independently develop manufacturing plans for complete subsystems or processes.
Design and implement production layouts for improved flow and productivity.
Create work instructions and train production staff as needed.
Apply Lean Manufacturing principles to reduce waste and improve throughput.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate requirements to stakeholders.
Follow Business Technology policies to protect sensitive data and reduce information security occurrences.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
2–5 years of relevant process engineering experience, including process improvement, process mapping, and implementation of manufacturing processes.
Demonstrated ability to work independently on defined subsystems or processes.
Experience with electro-mechanical design/manufacturing.
Understanding of electronics/data acquisition, part(s) specification, fabrication, and quality assurance.
Experience contributing to cross-functional project teams with tight deadlines.
Work Environment
Standard office environment with normal amounts of office related conditions. Occasionally may be required to work in environmental conditions that emulate typical user environments in order to facilitate design testing and validation. Occasionally may be required to travel as required to other facilities, clients, or suppliers.
