Position Details:
  • This position will be In-Office
  • $35.00 - $43.00 an hour/DOE

Primary Function:
The Manufacturing Technical Project Coordinator II is responsible for managing full project lifecycles with confidence, owning multiple projects from mid to high complexity. This role provides program-level oversight across related projects and departments while mentoring entry-level project managers. The PM2 demonstrates deep understanding of development processes and uses sound judgment in cross-functional decision-making.

Essential Job Functions - Responsibilities:
  • Manage full project lifecycles with confidence across multiple concurrent projects
  • Own multiple projects ranging from mid to high complexity
  • Provide program-level oversight across related projects or departments
  • Establish aggressive but realistic project timelines and milestones independently
  • Define comprehensive project requirements, deliverables, acceptance criteria, and desired outcomes
  • Mentor entry-level project managers and project coordinators
  • Align internal and external stakeholders effectively
  • Lead customer engagements and resolve escalations with minimal support
  • Use sound judgment in cross-functional decision-making
  • Influence cross-functionally through collaboration and expertise
  • Contribute to and improve departmental processes
  • Drive proactive action to reduce risk, feature creep, and cost overruns
  • Ensure projects meet timeline and deliverable expectations according to client requirements
  • Lead design reviews and generate comprehensive reports, meeting minutes, and action items
  • Demonstrate deep understanding of development processes in at least one engineering discipline
  • Show broader knowledge across at least two engineering disciplines
  • Maintain proficiency in Sigma Design PM tools and cross-functional dependencies
  • Monitor and optimize resource allocation, expenditures, and labor burn rates
  • Lead customer negotiations and discussions independently
  • Interface effectively with manufacturing staff on complex material and production planning issues
  • Ensure all regulatory, compliance, quality, and safety standards are exceeded
  • Oversee data release to shop & lab ensuring smooth information flow
  • Follow Business Technology policies to protect sensitive data and reduce information security occurrences.

Education and Experience: (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities)
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field preferred; or equivalent experience
  • Strong written and verbal English language communication skills
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in project management in manufacturing environment
  • Proven experience managing full project lifecycles with confidence
  • Deep understanding of development processes in at least one engineering discipline
  • Experience mentoring junior staff and leading cross-functional teams
  • Proficiency in project management tools, ERP systems, and financial transactions
  • Demonstrated ability to resolve complex problems and manage ambiguous situations
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with proven ability to influence without authority
  • Pass a post-offer background verification

Work Environment:
Standard office environment with normal office related conditions. Occasionally may be required to travel as required to other facilities, clients or suppliers.
