We are currently look for a CNC Machine Programmer III to join our team in Camas, WA. This role is In-Office. The pay range is $38.41-59.38/hour.

Primary Function:
The CNC Machine Programmer III is responsible for CNC programming of 5-axis/3-axis machined and lathe parts according to blueprint specifications.

Essential Job Functions - Responsibilities:
  • Utilizes G or M code and CAM software (HyperMill and Mastercam).
    • Analyzes engineering drawings, blueprints, models, and design data in order to develop CNC programs, setup sheets, tool selection, machine speeds, and feed rates.
  • Tests accuracy of settings and programs.
    • Configures tools and ensure efficient production.
  • Inspects parts using precision measuring tools.
    • Uses precision measuring instruments including micrometers, calipers, fixtures, and gauges to accurately measure dimensions on parts being machined within print tolerance.
  • Follows all safe work practices & safety rules.
  • Communicates recommendations to modify processes to improve productivity and quality..
  • Follow Business Technology policies to protect sensitive data and reduce information security occurrences.

Education and Experience: (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities)
  • Associates Degree or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience preferred.
  • Advanced HyperMill experience.
  • Advanced Mastercam experience.
  • Understanding of GD&T symbols and their application.
  • Strong written and verbal English language communication skills.
  • Excellent teamwork/interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively internally and externally with clients.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively, both within and outside one's own work group.
  • Demonstrate commitment and adherence to Sigma Design Core Values.
  • Pass a post-offer background verification.

Work Environment
Standard machine shop environment with various types of machinery. Appropriate safety garments (PPE) must be worn. Must be able to stand and work as long as 12 hours in different positions. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
